In the dream, he is standing waiting with open arms and then I;m standing beside him with my arms around his legs like a child.
In past life regression he was teaching me as a child in school and was standing with me and the disciples in Capernaum.

What is the difference between what an actively religious person sees and what an Atheist sees? Interpretation.

Christians see Jesus, Muslims see Mohamed, Hindus see Vishnu or Shiva, Catholics see Mary, Some people see Fairy's others see UFOs. An Atheist would immediately recognise they are either dreaming having a frontal lobe migraine or a simple trick of the light.

I'd like to ask someone whose said they'd seen Jesus what he looked like, because I bet he looked strikingly similar to the Italian Renaissance paintings of him.

First of all, the Bible states that when Jesus comes the second time, the event will occur in a twinkling of an eye. Jesus will descend from heaven and will gather believers to take them to be with him. I don't think there will be enough time to see Him first.

The third time Jesus comes will be to bring judgment to the earth, and He will come in great power and glory. People will then see him coming and mourn. Jesus will send out his angels to gather tribulation saints (believers in Christ).

Right now, Jesus is seated on the right hand of the Father. Of course we can't see Him. But at the same time, He lives in the hearts of those who accept Him as Lord and Savior.

When someone gets saved it is always the the Lord coming to Him. Through His Holy Spirit. God draws us, and we do not find Him as the Bible says ( see John 6:44 and John 15:16) Jesus chooses us. We cannot choose him on our own for Romans 3:10 says there is no good in us and that nobody seeks after God. This is because of sin. It is God who opens our eyes to His truth- through His Holy Spirit, and through hearing of the gospel message. Romans 10:17 says "Faith comes from hearing and by hearing the word of God"

When it comes to salvation it is God who always comes to us, softens our hearts and turns our eyes to HIM. All glory belongs to Him!
And when we are saved in Him we DESIRE to seek Him in all things.

If anyone sees Jesus they are on drugs or should be. That is called having visual hallucinations and a symptom of mental sickness. That is the reality of the world. Anyone who believes differently is just delusional.

At the rapture you'll see him in the "twinkling of an eye" and you'll be going toward him. 1st Corth. 15:52

When he comes in Power and Glory you'll see him in the clouds and he'll be coming towards you. Rev 1:7

Unless of course you were lucky enough to go in the rapture and then you'll be coming back with him in those some clouds. Rev 17:14

I only saw Jesus the one time. I think it was 1975. Mr. Fantasy had just dropped by. Fifteen minutes later, I saw Jesus, but then His face melted into the shag carpet.

He is coming for me, seeking ME out! That is the meaning behind several of the parables, and it shows that Jesus, God the Son, is unlike the (lower case) gods of any other religion!

It's like that scene in "Wild Strawberries;" no matter which direction I look, he always has his back to me.

I just wanted to say that. I don't see Jesus because I don't suffer from hallucinations.
