German because I love the sound of it and because it is a very useful language to learn, and fun!
But I would also like to know alot of other languages in addition to German though .

Dutch!
.
Holland is a beautiful country with an exiting, long and fascinating history. They have always been an important part of Europe, and separates from the rest of the world in many ways - not just the hookers and coffieshops.
Dutch would probably not be the most useful language to learn, as it's spoken by only a few - but then again, if everyone learns Spanish, French and Italian, then all other languages would eventually disappear...
Being Norwegian, it's quite fascinating to hear a language that has so many similarities to both English, German and Norwegian (and a bit French) - it links the three languages together...:)

Right now I'm learning Spanish and Latin. The Spanish is for school, and Latin has always been something I wanted to learn.
I am very interested in learning more, partially because I just like languages and partially because I'm seriously considering becoming an archaeologist with a slight enphasas on linguistics. I also have penpals across the world, and I love to travel and want to be able to communicate no matter where I go.
The next languages on my list are Ukranian (or would that be Russian?), Gaelic, Cherokee, and Korean. The first one espically, because my aunt and uncle are adopting a kid from there and I'd like to be able to talk to my new cousin in their own language. The second two have to do with my ansestory, and Korean is the language of several of my penpals.
I'd also like to learn Italian, because someday my mom and I are going to go to Rome and see everything....

I am Israeli, and the languages I speak are Hebrew, Hungarian, Spanish, English and Esperanto.
The first language I am sorry I don't speak is Arabic.
The reason - it is the language of the minority nation in my country, and of all surrounding countries.
Another language I will maybe learn some day is Ido. Since it is based on Esperanto, I would like to form my own opinion what changes are improvements and what are for the worse.

German - Because I'm part German.
Spanish - Because I'm part Mexican.
Japanese - Because it's a challenge, especially the writing and reading.
I'm already learning all 3 of these languages.

I'm fluent in Japanese, Spanish, of course English and I understand Korean pretty good but I can't read it. This is thanks to my friends and people whom I've grown up around.
However I know you can't "speak" this language but I would really love to learn sign language because recently my childhood friend lost her haering and it breaks my heart that I can't "talk" to her anymore.
