Both of them had a delusion that they are supported by angels and are going to heaven

the difference is Muhammad (peace be upon him) was supported by ALLAH, Jesus was supported by God

Both said who does'nt believe in them (without evidence) will go to hell

God and ALLAH watched Muhammed and Jesus suffer , ( jesus was tortured and Muhammed got severly injured in battles he lost !)

If you are a Muslim then yes they can be compared because they are both prophets that descended from Abraham but in Islamic tradition Jesus was sent to the Jews as Gods witness whereas Muhammad is a more blessed prophet.

In Christianity however they can not be compared, Jesus in Christianity is seen as God himself as human and therefore can not be compared to someone most Christians will see as non existent or lying.

Of course,

Both were Prophets. If you read many teachings of Muhammad you can see the similarity with Jesus, peace be upon them. In fact, that's why the Quran says that the closest people to Muslims can be the Christians, because among them there are priests and monks, and because they are not arrogant.

Muhammad confirmed the message of Jesus and recognized it. While the Jews of his time, especially in Arabia, were rejecting Jesus and even accusing his mother of filthy things, The Quran confirmed that Mary was a pure virgin and that Jesus' birth was miraculous.

But by the way, Muhammad can be also compared to Moses in a clearer way. Both of them were religious and political leaders. Both got married and lived to see some results of their work. Both were born from a normal marriage, etc.

Peace/salaam.

That website wrenches such a lot of passges out of context that it's not humorous. for occasion, the author claims that Jesus mentioned to kill His enemies in Luke 19:27-the situation? Jesus became telling a parable, and the words are from between the characters in the myth. He additionally claims that John 15:5-6 advocates killing apostates, while that may no longer even what Jesus is speaking approximately. It does not even communicate approximately killing! they are additionally criticising Jesus in accordance with a e book written by utilising human beings that did no longer even comprehend Him! And why did you pre-empt any grievance? i think you think of that grievance of this text is insults? nicely,i will inform you comprehend-I rather have never seen any such deceptive and outright infactual article in my existence.yet then, that website additionally has a piece of writing claiming 9/11 became an interior interest,so because it quite heavily isn't very suprising.

Mohammed was the prophet of war; Christ is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6-7).

Mohammed's disciples killed for the faith; Christ's disciples were killed for their faith (Acts 12:2; 2 Timothy 4:7).

Mohammed promoted persecution against the "infidels"; Christ forgave and converted the chief persecutor (1 Timothy 1:13-15).

Mohammed was the taker of life; Christ was the giver of life (John 10:27-28).

Mohammed and his fellow warriors murdered thousands; Christ murdered none but saved many (compare John 12:48).

Mohammed's method was COMPULSION; Christ's aim was voluntary CONVERSION (Acts 3:19).

It is ridiculous to ask such a question as both were prophets and founders of 2 religions .Each religion will always give preference to its own prophet and such questions can lead to more disparity and arguments which will never end.It may lead to one insulting the other which is disrespect for the 2 great prophets,Moses was also a prophet so why not compare him also.

I am sure neither of the great prophets would wish their followers to make odious comparisons as each one was humble and taught to respect other religions not to insult them. Both religions are people of the book so kindly refrain from hurting others feelings and sentiments.

in Islam we can compare them. christians and jews do not believe in the Islamic prophet (pbuh).
they were both prophets, they spread the word of God,
they also sent the same message, but it was distorted by christians through the changing bible and the way they made jesus god
they were both respected and trusted men
they spread peace.

One was a total pacifist. The other demanded the blood of the enemies of Allah. So, I wouldn't count on a strong comparison. It is like comparing Cinderella with the wicked witch of the west.Who also are fictional opposites.
