Ignition is remote started, car gets side hit. can airbags deploy. Do airbags activate only on moving inpact or do airbags deploy at non moving inpact. EX. my car is parked and someone hits vehicle, no one is on the car but ignition is on. Will this inpact activate side curtain air bags, seat airbags. side inpact only.

Airbags are activated via sensors on the vehicle, the sensors are active when the engine is running, the impact has to be enough to activate the sensors. That said, some airbags will activate when the switch is off, the vehicle empty, and you are working on/near these sensors.

The answer is "YES" and "NO". The vehicle has to be running (ignition 'On'), but the vehicle does not have to be moving for a side impact to deploy the seat or curtain airbag. The shock of the impact need to be felt by at least 2 sensors. On most vehicles, one is mounted in the pillar where the door closes and the other is usually on the tunnel under the armrest (there are variations to this). The outer sensor feels the impact, the inside sensor feels the inertia change; but they both have to feel the impact simultaneously. It's the same as if you were sitting at a light waiting for it to change and were broadsided. You would want the side airbag to deploy and it would, even though you are not moving. this is not the same for a frontal deployment. those sensors need to feel a change of speed (deceleration at impact along with an actual impact) to deploy.
The remote starter is simply a way for the vehicle to run without a key. All of the circuits are functioning once you start the car

I absolutely have an '01 Altima. at the same time as My son bumped right into a hillside to circumvent a deer, the passenger aspect airbag deployed. That changed into the aspect that hit the hill. the motive force aspect did not installation.

the impact will activate the airbags if the key is in the on position and the car is setting still it doesn't have to have people in it for this safety feature to work, and it doesn't have to be moving if that was the case then they wouldnt go off if you was setting at a light and got hit, they do go off if its setting still also,if hit the right way, good luck.

no.

the car has to be in motion (more than 15kmh), and it has to decelerate at a tremendous force in order to activate the airbag. the car must also be on. and the impact must be from a specific angle (60* frontal impact).

People. the vehicle DOES NOT have to be on. just the battery needs to be connected.
