I received a couple of links about this from my sister-in-law, and I thought it was so fascinating!

As determined by counting verses or words? There are an even number of verses in the KJV (31,102) so there is no middle verse if you count by verses.

With or without the apocrypha? The original KJV included it; most modern KJV editions do not.

Which edition of the KJV? There have been hundreds since it was first printed.

did you know that the authorised version also contains the name of god encoded in its text?

the authorised version was prepared for publication in 1610.

now go to psalm 46.

first count 46 words from the beginning of the psalm.

now count 46 words up from the end.

who had a 46th birthday in 1610?

now this is something worth knowing!
