I would disagree with those who think Billy Graham and Chuck Smith are right. They both have very much serious error and are preaching things not supported by God in the Bible. First of all, Smith thinks that catholics are saved, thinks you can lose your salvation, and teaches false doctrine to support his death grip over anyone under him. His group is a cult.
Graham also thinks catholics are saved, and has made friends with so much false doctrine that it's hard to say what he really believes anymore.

I can only speak on the pastors that I personally have sat under. I don't watch TV ministers and seldom listen to them on the radio.
My current pastor definitely was called to the ministry. As a young boy he was reared in a Catholic home where the "Family Bible" sat on the coffee table collecting dust so to speak. No one read it! He accepted Christ as his Savior when he was 16 unbeknowest to his parents. Shortly after started attending a Fundamentalist church locally and soon began teaching the Bible to the youth. He became the Youth Pastor and served in that capacity until the pastor left. He attended Washington Bible College and Washington Capital Seminary and got his PhD from Dallas Seminary. He tells us that when he was in secular school before his calling, he had no desire to hit the books. But after his calling he can't get enough of God's word. He has the gift of pastor-teacher. We study the Bible book by book, verse by verse. We have had studies in Greek and during Sunday School he'll even give us the Hebrew or Aramaic words to clarify what we're learning. He studies the passages thoroughly before presenting them to us and he speaks with clarity, understanding and authority. I say this because whatever he teaches he can back up Scripture with other Scripture ... not his opinions. I believe he can almost quote the entire Bible from memory. (That's my opinion) I've never heard of anyone ask him a question that he couldn't answer from the Bible. He not only teaches us the Word of God but also practices the Word of God. I firmly believe if you are going to teach it you must first live it yourself. Like Paul says, "follow me as I follow Christ."
I have attended churches that have men in the pulpit expounding on a particular passage of Scripture and they have to throw in ... "and" "uh" "if you will", etc. to fill in time because they are not sure what they are saying. It's pitiful! I don't believe these men were called to the ministry.
Then you have those who NEVER give the Gospel during Sunday School, Worship Hour, Mid-Week Service or ever! How can such a man be called a minister of God when he doesn't do the most fundamental task of sharing the only way to heaven with others. A pastor-teacher is to equip the saints to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Even worse are those "false teachers" who teach you can lose your salvation or you have to earn it. So sad and so many are listening to them .... it's nothing but human pride! God said salvation is a free gift not of works lest anyone should boast.
I sort of went off on a tangent ... I apologize. This is a very sore subject with me. People just don't understand how extremely important it is to place yourself under a man called of God to learn and grow spiritually. We can all study our Bibles for ourselves but Peter tells us "not to forsake the assembling of ourselves." We need to hear God's word and hide it in our hearts that we might not sin against God. We need the encouragement and edification that we can only get from being with other saints in God's house.
To answer your question straightforward ...
Called of God: 1) My pastor, Kenneth J. Burge, Sr. 2) Pastor Robert Martz
In pulpits but not called of God: 1) Pentecostal pastors 2) Catholic priests 3) Any man who teaches a "relegion" i.e. Methodist, Lutheran, Jehovah Witness, Mormanism, etc. These men (and women ... don't get me started on this) are teaching religion not a relationship with Christ ... there's a huge difference.
If you really want to hear the Word from a man called of God, please visit our church's website: http://www.colmarmanorbible.org and judge for yourself. We've been studying the Book of Matthew since March, 2006 and currently in Chapter 12.
