If you are living in a place where the air is very dry or yoiu have forced air heating this is probably due to the mucus membranes in your nose drying out. use a saline nasal spray several times a day and put a bit of vaseline on a q-tip and rub it inside your nostrils at bedtime . you would probably profit from using a cool mist humidifier in your bedroom to counteract the dryness of the heated room air. Since you say this happens nearly every winter I suspect the dry air is the source of your discomfort. Other causes can be more serious like anemias and such ,but since you indicated that it is seasonal and over time, I think the above things will cure your problems. If not, go see your doctor.

In the winter, your heater kicks on and thats why you get nose bleeds. The heater takes the moisture out of the air and your skin dries out as a consequence. Sleep with a humidifier in the room. That should take care of it. Take care!

Could be that the inside of your nose is getting too dry. Try running a humidfier in your room at night and see if that helps.

Hey! Well, I used to have the same problems, but not anymore. I went to the doctor and they said that it was a popped blood vessel and my potassium was low so they carterized it. I think you should have it checked out.
