Yes, people can still be aprt of a religion even if they are not following the "traditional values." Religions evolve. They don't have to be stagnant to still be the same religion. Religions also generally reflect cultural values, so its logical that religion changes with culture.

Yes you are right, religion has mixed man kind up, theres over 3,000 different religions in the US all teaching a different doctrine and a different Jesus Christ, why so confusing to serve one God? Religion is not one, proof the pope claimed that his religion is the only right religion, I've also heard this from a cult. One I'm afraid not!

Yes it is. Just because SOME may not be following those 'traditional values' does not void the religion. It still applies as such to others.

People who refuse to live the principles and values of the religion they claim to profess are not actually professing that religion. Not living the ethical teachings of a religion does not disqualify the religion as a candidate for truth but it does disqualify the alleged adherent ( unless the religion actually does teach immorality and murder)

Traditions don't help you get to heaven. You need a personal relationship with God who is the Father.
