Funny -- my black boyfriend always prefers vanilla and I (who am white) always prefer chocolate. We are always teasing each other about it.

Vanilla, chocolate is really good, I will admit, but I enjoy the taste of real Mexican vanilla in anything I cook more than chocolate.

I like both depending on what it is.
