i want to join the army when i get out of high school but im color blind and a want to be in the infrintry

Yes, you will be limited to certain jobs. You should talk to a recruiter if you doubt me. I'm in the Air Force and know that there are a few jobs you can't do if your color blind. Hell, my recruiter was color blind and work in the Medical career field. Good luck with the Army.

yes , you can join the army if your color blind your limited to your choice of jobs though , my cousin was color blind and he went needs of the army and they put him in infantry , but im sure thier is other mos's that you can go into talk to a recruiter online this way thier is no pressure on you , like thier is when you talk face to face and some recruiters act worse than car dealers,lol, not all but some

I have known people who were not allowed to sign up because they were color blind.
It may be more difficult to get into the infantry with color blindness. You may have a better chance at getting a desk job.
However, the military is hard up for people to enlist these days, so I would say talk to your local recruiter.

For the army in case you go with for a non-infantry place, perhaps. in case you go with for an infantry place in the army or any field in the Marines, in all probability not. Being color blind can mess with nightvision and different issues you require for wrestle. even nonetheless i'm not a hundred% advantageous, so i does not take my notice for it. consult from a recruiter, they are going to do all they could to get you in.

The rule used to be No. But times have changed and it could be that you would qualify for Infantry . To be a Foot Soldier, wouldn't matter if you could even see. Try for something else, instead of being a Foot Soldier. When horrible wars break out, it is the Foot Soldier that is sent up into the Front lines. Many never return.

Pilots can't be color blind, it depends on what school you want to go to .. just go down to the local recruiter and ask him.

I had a Sergeant who was color blind. We were U.S. Army Combat Engineers, MOS 21B, and he did his job well.
