A friend of mine has had allegations made about her about two months ago. It was sent to the school then cps, then the police, and now the prosecutor. The prosecutor has had it for a little over two weeks and no charges have been pressed. What's the deal? What does this mean? The case as been under investigation for two months. No one has spoken to my friend, not even the police. This could be because she lawyered up the min. she heard the allegations. The prosecutor told her lawyer two weeks ago that they wanted her to go and make a statement at the police department and the prosecutor wanted her to take a polygraph. What does anybody with knowledge of this subject make of any of it?

never volunteer anything. if they think they have a case- they will get a warrant and come for her. never never never volunteer anything. cps cases are impossible to fight with an atty. as well. she needs to get rid of the atty and when the case is filed go for the juglar vein with cps. that is the ONLY way you can win. the attys and judge and cps workers are all in bed together. if she is prosecuted, they will give her a court appointed atty. in a criminal case as well as the cps case. cps will drag her through the mud and make her look bad to everyone and anyone. if he rents - her landlord has already been contacted. thats how they get people to plea out a case- hound and harass and embarrass until you give in and beg for mercy. then you sign all of your rights away and cannot sue th later because you contracted with them. they are sneaky, lying, satanic bunch of folks! they lay in wait and prey upon many. be careful. wise as a serpent and mild as a dove. never show your wisdom until you get in a courtroom. them broadside them with all you got!

she would be insane to either make a statement to the police OR take a polygraph without first being charged.

a friend of mine also was in a situation where he was under suspicion of a crime and the police asked him (all nice and friendly like) to make a statement to them in order for them to see if it would be worth filing charges or not.

do not trust the police in situations like this - ever. they are basically looking for someone else to do their job for them. they don't want a statement - they want a confession.

they ended up charging my friend, but the fact that he kept his mouth shut meant that the charges will eventually be dismissed.

if they are asking for these things BEFORE they charge anyone with a crime, it's most likely because their case is weak.

They are waiting for you to give them info. Why do you think police ask you questions like where you going tonight and do you know why I stopped you? Its really irrelevant, but their trying to get you to slip up. Also: A cop always says if you come clean with them it will be easier on you, but its COMPLETELY LEGAL for them to lie to you! So, watch out.
