Jesus said no man can come to him except the father draw him and that whoever comes to him he will in no wise cast out

and the bible says that "none seek after God"

if one is seeking Jesus Christ it can only be by Gods grace so this person does not need to worry about it being too late for them....they have not committed the unforgivable sin

but the second one dies, if they are not saved, it is indeed too late

I know that it is very dangerous to put off
God's free salvation because the longer you
wait the harder the heart grows against his
calling.Today is the day of salvation for all
that call upon his name.
Jesus says that all need saving in order to go to heaven. He says if you die in your sins, where I am you cannot come. The unsaved will open their eyes screaming in hell after death for all eternity.

Well, if it's real, if salvation is at the altar instead of in your heart, what difference does it make? Has God not done His saving work either way?

You can be saved up until the moment of your death. After that, it's too late.

Hebrews 9:27 - "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment."

The people may have really felt that way, but God never withholds mercy from his children when they earnestly seek him.

No, not as long as you're still alive...but if you died without ever having had the opportunity to have heard the word I believe its still possible to be saved...In the day of Judgment.
