Why do young people not want to enlist in the Military on Veterans day?

The recruiters are all lined up here in Mt Clemens to recruit young people. When ask how they are doing (recruiters) they replied "Must be a lot of young men/women drinking lemon juice beause all faces are squenched up)

Not true, my son just joined the U.S. Army yesterday. In fact I posted a comment/question about it. Also, I found out this morning that two of his friends joined at the same time.

P.S. Most of the homeless are there because of crack, drugs, booze, or just too lazy to work and like a free meal. I feel for those who are having a hard time due to being out of work or can't pay rent, but these people usually take the help offered (job search, education) and get off the streets.
