ok so i am having a christmas party my mom has a really good recipe for fruit cake but most people like pie should i make which one? i am not good at making pie just so you know.

If you make a very tasty fruit cake, I'd suggest you make a fruit cake.
It's different and if it's good it will surprise people in a good way.
Just go with your strength.
However, if you think nobody will eat it then buy ice cream to go with the cake.

Pie because fruit cake isn't as delicious as fruit pie. Most people prefer fruit pie.

no fruit cake. Make a pumpkin pie ( or buy one if you cake do pies) you can buy the ones you have to bake.
