When you say - "right now?" you bring into the picture the depth of God (not god) that goes beyond our conception. Time. We live our lives within the constraints of time - God does not and this is so far beyond our little minds that I cannot explain it.
I'm glad you asked the question and if you would like to gain some real insight into God may I recommend that you pick up C.S.Lewis' "Mere Christianity" It will give you a grasp on this question and so much more.

The better question is what you are doing right now. We cannot know Gods full agenda but we can do our best to follow His path that Jesus taught. Have faith, hope and love but remember the greatest of these is love. Love your neighbor as yourself and treat others as you wish to be treated. Forgive the crimes committed against you that you are not bitter. And seek to grow.
