Why don't you write a paper FOR stem cell research and cite the countless scientific experiments done with them that have shown positive results?

The bible doesn't help in politics. Also they have found that a cell other than a stem cell to use in reaserch that doesn't kill any human life. If nothing is harmed in this new kind of research then there is no reason to be against it. Stem cells are not going to be used anymore in short. So Write a paper about something else

Boy,...did U get the "Short Straw!!! U do realize there is NO HUMAN / SOUL LIFE IN THE WOMB DON'T U??? Read Genesis 2:7 "the LORD God formed the man [The Hebrew for man (adam) sounds like and may be related to the Hebrew for ground (adamah) it is also the name Adam (see Gen. 2:20)] from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life [Hebrew word is ( Nuchshamah)], and the man became a living being [with (Human / Soul Life)]." To think that God left Us in charge of "Creating Anything" [much less (Eternal Souls)] would be the Pinnacle of ARROGANCE!!! Only at the point where God imparts a Soul does Human / Soul Life Begin!!! We are Born Physically Alive & Spiritually Dead as our Genetically Transfered Old Sin Nature at Birth is made Active!!! John

One- The bible says nothing about stem cell research.
Two- There are stem cells that can be taken from adults without killing anybody or anything- maybe instead of writing against it, you should write about using alternative methods of getting the stem cells?

You seem a little unclear of the use of the word "research", since you are writing a paper against it, you have already formed your opinion.

Whatever babble verses fundies quote to support their "moral' opposition to stem cell research, I can find you others that will say the opposite. Thats the beauty of using the babble, as you can find quotes to support completely opposite points of view, depending on your political agenda.

The babble states that life didn't begin until god breathed the breath of life into the formed clay.

The whole issue about stem cells is whether or not the government should fund it. It is perfectly legal for the private corporations to fund and research it. And they are.

We are strongest when we are at our weakest. Only when we reach a point of great stress do we discover how much resilience we truly have. You may feel you are handling a situation badly. Given the circumstances, though, you could be expected to fair far worse. Don't criticise yourself for alleged failings. Celebrate for doing so well in such an adverse climate. You are about to discover that a brave step has been far more successful than you dared hope.
