2 Timothy is an excellent book about endurance - this is Paul's last letter to Timothy, his protege'. Paul knew he would most likely be killed soon by the Roman emporer, and he talks throughout the book about how he has endured hardships for God and encourages Timothy to do the same and not give up. I don't know how long of a reading you need, but try 2 Timothy 2:1-13; 2 Timothy 3:10-15 (or just verse 14-15 for a short reading) and 2 Timothy 4: 5-8.
