Now I am someone who realizes that atheists are fools who are missing a very simple point but the fact is you Chrisitans with your silly bible make it so damn hard for someone to take God seriously. You make people say the most horrible and offensive things about him just because you are his supposed representatives and because of your very feeble theology. Now I know many of you are sincere and one who believes and respects God can not be compared with the poor atheists, but I just ask here and now all Christians to please cease and desist from speaking and preaching because frankly you give God a very bad name. And I ask more that you try and study some eastern religions and try and understand the concept of Karma. I believe if you did this you would do a lot to amend this present situation where you and your religion create a world full of atheists and haters of religion.

I like the way you phrased your original question. However, if you're holding yourself up as an example of what Christians could gain by learning about eastern religions, then frankly, I don't think your solution will have the desired effect either!
The way I see it, everyone that has a message to share could learn the most effective strategies by taking a class in basic marketing...at least the way I teach my marketing classes! Personally, I think marketing should be in the "core" requirements for all education right along reading, writing, mathematics, history and science!
How positively would you respond to a message from a company that called you a fool and suggested you were feeble-minded if you didn't believe their message? Effective marketers know that, in the long run, the only effective strategy for creating successful exchanges lies in building relationships. I'm not suggesting telling people what they want to hear...this strategy only works in the short-term...people will invariably learn that what you said wasn't the truth and that's often the end of the relationship! Instead, "real marketers" know that they should never promise more than they can deliver AND that the thing they deliver needs to satisfy the customer.
Marketers who use fear, intimidation, half-truths, "spin" and/or "puffery" create a world full of people that don't trust them and hate the product they're selling. Marketers who communicate an open and honest message about their company and then live up to what they promise create a world of people that trust and respect them, even among people that don't buy the product they're selling!

No such element. An atheist believes in NO god/desses. that could contain Allah,Ganesh, Kali, Isis, Thor, Gaia, Danu, etc...maximum English talking consumers are on right here and are raised Christian, yet i could say my morals & ideals are from a mixture of empathy & society. i'm professional-determination, and so are many Xians and that i'm additionally vegetarian. The Bible is particularly contradictory. That entire 'no longer killing' element? a lot of Xians do no longer look to have a situation with production unit farms, the loss of existence penalty or going to war. And in case you examine the OT, you do no longer ought to bypass a coaching on the thank you to envision some tale the place the 'chosen ones' are commanded to kill. There are over 30,000 Xian denom's available...there's a reason.

I don't hate religion. I hate that it lies. I hate that it doesn't allow anyone the right of free thought. I hate the thought that it takes in so much money from the poor and uneducated and pretends to know everything including the mind of a g_d.
I hate the fact that faith wants you to have the mind of a child so it can manipulate it [blind faith], I hate the fact it wants you to be no more than a sheep in a pen of devotes. I hate the fact that some holier than thou Christian proclaims everyone is a 'fool' because they don't share the same view. Such hubris with the all knowing authority to become the deity itself.
I hate the fact the it produces people like you, all knowing all powerful, that think they have every answer and are pious to the point of illiteracy.

gee, i wonder why so many people hate religioin, including eastern religion. Is it because of the mindless, senseless things rational people believe and do in the name of their religion? Is it because of the situation of buddhists violence and the fleecing of the rich westerners by the ashrams in poona etc? I wonder.
Mostly i wonder why people are so easily turned off of religion by christians as you claim. Is it because religion is too ridiculous that it is harder to make a religious virgin adult believe it in the first place than it is to make a believer notice the ludicrous irrational beliefs they all hold.
Step out of the pretence of your easter religion and see it for what it is. Another organization that has thrived on violence (look at the violent history of hindu/buddhists, the imperial way buddhism etc) and fleecing of the gullible flock. It is no different from the rest of them

I humbly ask that you do more research into Eastern religions.
If you had studied, say Buddhism, at any length you would realize:
1. a lot of Buddhists are atheists
2. The philosophies of Buddhism do not condone kicking anyone in their a****.

Christians have bigger egos. It's like creating a frankenstein when you give someone the power of truth and salvation. They just break out of the lab and chase people.
