Yung NF,
Actually, it's spelled "aggelos" aγγελος, [angelos], meaning "messenger"in Greek. Which is where the English word Angel comes from. Plus Latin and other languages borrowed this Greek word and give it different spellings and pronunciations.
This definition is transferred into Chinese. Chinese word for angel 天使 tian shi literally means "heavenly messenger"
The Japanese took the Chinese characters and approximated the pronunciation: ten shi
Yander T,
In the list you gave, the translation for angel is wrong for both Traditional & Simplified Chinese.

'Angel' translates into 'messenger'. And I'd be surprised if it wasn't originally Hebrew.
edit - wups. Surprise!
