Whats your rational?

The Crusades and inquisition were not caused by religion but used religion to do it in the name. If you check history, you'll see what the real reasons were. Also, what does that have to do with today?

Son you are obviously oblivious to how Christianity started.
Stop reading the bible and read some history books, hell you can watch the History channel for lots of info on this.

Did you know that Catholics, the original christian ring of terror, started mobs and killed anyone who would not join their cult. Did you know Christians of all sorts killed thousands of innocent people and used their divine words to trick mobs into burning people at the stake?hangings? beheadings? and all out war?

If God is Love is this what he wanted them to do? The brainwashed will say YES by God he wants us to do whatever it takes to get his word across. This is a cult that has been killing people to protect their credibility for centuries.

I could talk about it all day and write a book thicker then the bible itself about all the wrong doings of christians.

Think about it. If christianity was the faith to be why is it one of the youngest of cult religions? Christianity is just another form of brainwashing. Countries have liked it and used it because it can keep the masses to be good, until war. Then it is kill your enemy in the name of God. Really? I think if God does exist he would be disgusted at this use of his name.

Like I said, get educated. Stop letting people tell you what you want. I used to be the same as you, til I got the low down on the history of religion. Now I still am a good person and believe in doing alot of what the bible says, but I dont believe in any religion that has its own little differences.

I mean we have Catholics, Lutherans, Methodists, Several variations of Baptists, now Mormons, and thousands of little christian churches of various beliefs. Which one is right? That is the secret, the one that suits your beliefs is the right one. Now doesnt that raise your curiosity?

When christianity started it was a twisted truth to make a control system of power for their state or country at the time. It became a become christian or die program that worked well. Back then everyone feared it, they didnt all believe it, and they wanted to live so they jumped on the wagon at gunpoint basically.

Remember this all started where? the catholic church originated where? Where is the Pope. Yeah Italy the country where crime, lies, deceit, bullying, killing, and many other ruthless ways of control are a way of life. Please. Give me a break.

Another thing. Do some Geneology and see if your relatives were in the crusades, or murdered in the name of christianity.

forgot to add that Islams are the only religion younger and they are basically starting theirs the same way. Join or die!

The truth shall set you free.

I don't be live that Christianity kills people and Islam kills.

But historically it is true that so-called Christians whether they believe on their religion in real sense or not have killed more humans in other countries than people of any other religion.
They have killed more people in Africa, Asia, Middle East and in Europe Christians have killed too many Christians of each others countries like wars between England, France and Germany including world wars.

I agree Christian countries these days have less crime rate as compared to Middle East, Africa and South east countries because they do not yet have good governments and more lawlessness prevails.

In these countries American Governments always support the worst governments for their people as long as the heads of governments serve the interests of USA.

How many people do you suppose are dying right now as a result of the church's position on AIDS?
How many lives could be saved if it wasn't for the church's postion on stem cell research?
How many children will starve to death before I can complete this sentence as a result of the church's postion on birth control?
How long before we destroy our Mother Earth as a direct result of the church's postion on "dominion"?
Should I go on?
Ignorance perptuates misery and the "church" is in the ignorance business.

Lower crime rates eh? So which country is the most dangerous to live in in the whole world? Columbia. What percentage of Columbians are Christian? Around 90%. Which country has the highest violent crime in the west, and is also one of the most Christian? The US. Which countries started and were the largest contributers to the world wars? Christian Germany, US, UK, France and Russia. Which countries invaded and subjugated non-Christian nations? Christian US, UK, France, Italy, Belgium, Holland and Germany.

Now I'm not saying that they're violent BECAUSE they're Christian, because that is a false premise - it is a co-incidence that violence and Christianity appear to corroborate. What I AM saying is that other people certainly aren't more violent because they're NOT Christian.

Have you read you holy book?

Food for thought:
Jereboam had an army of eight hundred thousand men, Abijah had four hundred thousand. They fought. The Lord was on Abijah's side, allowing him to kill five hundred thousand of Jereboams men. What a guy!

The is one of many.... My rational - read the text....Then figure it out. This is the inerrant truth, you must believe, you must..
Those Christians just can't see it when they read it. What's more amazing is they tell you to believe it - then ask a question like this...

The people who say that are Christian Haters or just Religion haters in general. Whenever I hear that, I'm like "Yeah, whatever, I'm Christian but I've never killed anyone."

From a Christian perspective when we come to encounter Christ, we believe we die so that we can find a new life that is inspired by the Spirit of Christ .

The Crusades, the Inquisition, the Auto de fe...there are hundreds of examples of Christians killing non-believers...

Your hands are NOT clean...but don't feel bad...

"What is your rational?" What are YOUR sources? Which Christians are you referring to?

Humans have a profound ability for discontent and violence no matter what religion they follow.
