everyone on here is correct when they say long live
las vegas. or long live Mexico etc.

in a sense they are also saying up with vegas up with the revalution like you are totally in agreement with the cause in an exicted way> its a cheer yay que vivaaaa!!!

It means something like "Long live"

Viva la revolucion = Long live the revolution.
Viva mexico = Long live Mexico

In "Viva las Vegas." I think it means something like Live the Las Vegas life though.

viva means cheers - so cheers to Las Vegas.

It can mean "long live" as in long live the king. But you wouldn't say long live las vegas.
