Getting her to eat at all was like spoonfeeding a baby she seems too dependant on me. She is one year old got her from someone in a flat who can no longer keep her. Also she keeps trying to come into my bedroom at with me. Is when she rolls on her back a good sign as well

My cats eat both canned and dried food. The food is generally well balanced with the right amount of fats, proteins, and vitamins. And if you give her milk, make sure it's cat's milk, not cows milk. Most cats are lactose intolerant of cows milk.
Avoid giving them human food. This also keeps them from begging or getting into your food if you leave anything on the counter tops while you're eating.

If your cat is rolling on her back exposing her belly, then she trusts you. The belly is their most vulnerable area.
And if she keeps showing her behind to you, again, it's a sign of trust and submission.

It depends what dry food you mean - there are plenty of high-quality dried foods that are complete diets. An all-dry diet is perfectly acceptable for cats SO LONG AS it's high quality i.e not your supermarket-bought stuff! As a general guide, if it's got coloured pieces in it, it's not good stuff! I recommend Iams, Royal Canin and Hills Science Plan, these are both fine foods that can be fed as dry exclusively. It just means that cat will drink more water, to make up for the fluid it would otherwise have got from canned food.

Yes, rolling on the back is a good sign, it means the cat is relaxed. Unless she's not spayed, in which case that's bad because she's probably in heat!

Sounds like you could do with some general cat-advice. Is this cat vaccinated? Fleaed, wormeed? Have you taken her to the vet for a general check, and for general care advice?

oh, it's not so bad as you think

Dry food especially from Scince plan is a perfectly ballanced diet for your cat. If you fed her with normal products you wouldn't have achives the same balance as in there. Also is solves problems of hair balls and liver and even cleaning teeth for your cat.

Also cat don't mind not having great varity of food unlike us, humans. If she settles with a particular kind of food, let het/him remain with it, providing it's recommended by specialists or your vet.

You need to try to get her into rutine, the cat has just had a major shock from moving into a new place. If you are so worried about her eating - offer her different kinds of catfood at once and see what she would go for.

Also Whiskers sashes with jelly or sause are great!

Going into bedroom with you is a wounderful sing! read it as this: she feels comfortable with you and she trusts you so much that she wants to fall asleep with you (=taking a risk of relaxing). a

And rolling on her back is even better. she opens her the most vulnerable area to you- there is no beer sing of trust and friendship of aan animal.

So looks like you two are doing great!

Let her settle in, get her some toys, she will explore the house and be no longer dependant on you.

Think if she needs any vactinations - ask your friend or you vet

Buy her the complete dry cat food and stop worrying .... why does she come into the bedroom with you ?....she wants to be with you an that's probably where she used to sleep with her previous owner..... If she rolls on her back? ..... rub her tummy!
Try to chill out and let the poor cat settle in, with all the flapping about you are doing then she is probably picking up the tension!
Buy a book about cats or do some research on the net.
Mainly get her checked by a vet and find out what vaccinations she has had.

The fact she's rolling on her back is good because she feels secure. All my cats want to be in the bedroom - that's were it smells most strongly of you and has that lovely bed! She has just moved to a new place with a new person and she seems to be settling down well. As for food - do all humans have the same tastes? Just enjoy her.

most dried foods are a complete diet, a good one is royal canin complete cat food, when i got my cat the vet advised me that cats are fine having either dried or normal cat food, if you mix it up they can become fussy. buy some cat milk too, i has reduced latose in it which is good for them.. she will love that! As far as coming into your bedroom it just means she wants to come to snuggle and if her last owner let her do that she may get a bit upset if she gets left out. overall it sounds like she is still settling in.. take her to the vets just to have an overall check up but otherwise it just sounds like your kitty loves you to bits!!

Sounds like a happy cat to me. Mine roll over and love their tummy rubbed like a dog.

Ours have dried food only, except the occasional tin treat (usually coinciding with a vet visit!) and the vets have said this is actually better for them. It helps keep the teeth clean too.

I would not worry. The mixes these days have all the nutrtion they need. just buy a variety of flavours so she does not get bored.

if she wont eat much try dog food my cats much prefer it im not sure why. If that dosent work try mashing it up a bit more she seems like a cat thats been pampered a lot rolling on her back is very good. Maybe if she does rely on you it could be because of what has happened as she was a kitten past can affect cats as they grow up.

this is wonderful how little human beings fairly be attentive to regarding the animals we % for pets. Cat nutrition is terrible to your cat. surprisingly if this is dry. moist nutrition is better, yet on condition that that's a organic type made with human grade ingredients. particular, some human nutrition is undesirable for cats. Chocolate and grapes working example. inspite of the undeniable fact that, cats are meant to consume uncooked meat. Feeding your cat chicken and turkey or maybe though different meat is stable for them. No ask your self your cat loves ingesting human nutrition. How could you prefer to consume cereal crammed with ineffective ingredients your physique can no longer technique for each meal of the day. study to feed your cat a uncooked weight loss plan and he would be satisfied and you will no longer could desire to rigidity approximately him ingesting "cat nutrition" because of the fact he would be ingesting what cats are meant to consume. Do animals interior the wild consume rendered dry cereals that style faintly like meat? No, did no longer think of so. Animals interior the wild have not got an identical periodontal disease and kidney problems our pets have and different ailments. (Getting eaten by making use of a extra physically powerful animal/ hit by making use of a motor vehicle isn't an ailment). do slightly analyze approximately how cats must be raised and give up attempting to stress crap on your cat who for sure is accustomed to better.
