It's wonderful for that! If you need to get model shots and don't want to go to a studio then it's perfect for that, then you can add in colors or your name or something. You can get pretty cheap green screens on ebay and at some home depos. Make sure it's a true green screen green. Sometimes lime green, pastel green or forest green work but rarely you have to get the right color green. Sometimes the cheap ones are not the right colors and stuff here's a link about chroma key (green screen)

He has many videos about chroma key with some bad words every now and then so just be aware of that. (some people get offended)

Good Luck With Green Screening!

P.S. Rip Roar Creation Station is $100 and for children but it comes with a green screen editing software and a camcorder.

Green screen is fine for still photography, but bear in mind it must be lit quite evenly, your subject must be far enough away not to get a green reflection from it and often subjects with curly hair will have little pieces of green in th outer curls. It is not a perfect system as some might think.

For a cheap green screen, see the Savage Chroma Key Green seamless paper backgrounds. B&H carries it for about $40.
