From the looks of things, it appears that several states have already "grown a set".

Oklahoma just enacted a set of laws that has Illegals heading to other states, Arizona has some set up already as well.

We're gettin' there.

It probably won't happen until the situation gets so bad that it can't be ignored any longer. This has become the American way. We glue our eyes to the TV and computer and entertain ourselves until the house is nearly burnt down. Thank goodness some states are acting.

Harvesting food is only 2% of the cost that you pay in the grocery store, so this is just a scare tactic. Besides, Americans used to do those jobs. The agribiz folk dismantled that workforce deliberately by hiring illegals.

I can live happily without Grand Slams, fast food, dirty restaurant food, and all the other benefits that are supposed to come from having my country overrun by people who arrive with no investigation of their criminal, health, educational, or any other part of their backgrounds.

If our govt. would push the laws that are already on the books about employing & facilitating illegals, If these illegals could not get jobs and benefits which they get now there would be no reasion to come here in the first place further by going after the employers & facilitators big time these illegals will be out of a job and not able to get any job will drift back where they came from.

In a way the U.S. is having the balls to kick out illegals but it's happening at a state level.

It had better be soon, because those that support the illegals have our president, many in our Congress, and most if not all of the Dem's running for president, many of the GOP candidates as well. If that wasn't bad enough they have the ACLU, LaRaza and such willing to litigate for free on their behave

hi Spazz, did you realize that if I ,as an American citizen, have been to run around the Rio Grande INTO Mexico, the Mexican guards could only shoot me?If I have been captured i could be thrown right into a disgusting penal complex and left to rot.i does no longer be entitled to any medical therapy because of the fact I had broken Mexican regulation. If I lived in Mexico i could in all likelihood flee to the united statestoo.

It would probably take a major disaster, such as 9/11 before they will take action. Unfortunately the people in power are lagging their heels when it comes to dealing with this important issue.
