Yes, it is good. Yahoo annoys me with the way they run Yahoo answers, but Yahoo personals are great...well run and great singles.

But be completely honest when stating stuff about yourself - and what you want in another person.
It beats the heck out of meeting a jerk from the bar!!
There were several slime balls that I had to weed out while I was looking, but it was during the 'email' portion, and it saved me the problem of meeting them in person and THEN trying to get rid of them!
This way you know everything and don't even have to meet
in person the ones you are not really 'compatible' with.
IT WORKS!
I have been with my 'true love' for one year this month and boy am I ever glad I did it! It just keeps getting better and better - cause we had a good foundation to build on.

Absolutely !! I can't tell you it will work for you because I don't know you or where you are from. I can say it works better in a large urban area. (More people to choose from). You have to have an open mind. Be honest and you will be surprised at what happens. I lay it all out up front. IE: I am a smoker and I don't know Jesus. I would rather eat barbed wire than walk on a beach or listen to rap. Things like that. I have a never-ending list to choose from.

If you search the net a bit you will see that Yahoo Personals has a chequered history. As does match.com, plenty of people have gripes with them.
I'd recommend www.plentyoffish.com which is completely free, has lots of members, good profiling/search tools and lively forums.

Yes two years ago I found my Knight...... and we are living Happly ever after.
Great site.
Takes a while go get through the freaks.... but there are some good ones out there.
