Are you keen to pray the the five prayers at "Masjid" ??!!

**as for me, my father, Hamdulliah, is so keen to pray them at Masjid...........and sometimes, during Fajr prayers, if he's not able to wake up -because of being tired from job- we insist to wake him up, and pray there, so he won't miss such "reward"/ "Thawaab" :-)

My wish is that my future Hubby inshaa Allah is keen to pray them at Masjid :-)

btw, are you girls also keen that your parent or husband go to pray at Masjid ??!!

firstly in reply to samantha... the prophet pbuh said that praying in the masjid is 27 times better than praying at home... so yes it does make you a better person because you are getting more reward... and in the qur2an allah swt says ''wa man yo3athem sha3aa2er allahi fa inaha min taqwa al qoloob'' which basically means those people who establish allah's rituals which going to the masjid does... it is part of the piety of the heart...

now back to the question

i try to pray in the masjid if i can... it is important that we keep masajid lively and not like churches where only a few people bother... there is also a hadith about the 7 people that allah swt will shade on the day of judgement... one of those people is a man that his heart was associated with masajid... he loved the masjid iin other words (may allah make me that person)

i really respect you sister for your wish... girls nowadays want to marry a rich and handsome guy and forget about the religion... which is key to success and living a good life... the prophet pbuh says in a hadith... ''itha jaa2akom man tardawna deenahu wa 7'olokahu fa zawijooh'' rough translation... if a man asks for ur hand and ur satisfied with his deen and manners then marry him or fitna will be the result... so deen is very important...

may allah grant your wish sister and give me a wife that will be after me all the time so i don't miss my salah in the masjid...

jazaki allah kheer :)

Yep, my dad goes to the masjid when he's not at work. I'm engaged, and my fiance is from Yemen, and we asked him to come to America, but he refused because he said he doesn't want to miss out on going to the masjid for every prayer.
YAY! i got a fiance who prays in the masjid!
And insha-Allah all Muslim men out there will strive enough just at least to make it to Fajr and Isha and Jumu'ah!

We are fortunate that we live in a Islamic country where the Masjid announces prayer. Unfortunately my husband works and his duties do not allow for him to go to the masjid..When he is home or off for the day he does go...His father goes for all 5 prayers, his dad is old and hardly can walk but still makes it which amazes me...
My brother-in-laws some go some do not......

Salam

Its is a requirement, make a prayer room at home that would be as sufficient inshAllah. In the beginning days if you didn't arrive at the masjed they all went to your house to check on you because it was expected to be as such.

Required in Town to kick the shytan out, as the men must stand on the front lines every salat to keep him out. Check the hadith the shytan will not enter a town or city where the Iman is strongest on the front lines from those great men that return every salat. That is how we keep the shytan out of the city, but very few know that!

Yes, but unfortunately I still am trying to pray 5 times in the mosque.
I find it so peaceful to sit and relax in the calmness after a stressful day at school.
I'm ashamed that sometimes I miss prayers at the masjid.
With all the homework, I don't know.
But Insha Allah, where there's a will there's a way.

May Allah S.W.T guide us all.

I found myself touched with your blessed wish and all what I can say,may Allah bless you and grant you what you are hopping.

To be honest, I perform my prayers on time mostly at my office and home, beside I have shortfall with the Fajr prayer, sometimes I can't wake up on time. I am sure that your d3a2 will help

No need to bother yourself commenting on non-scence, worthless creatures don't deserve even noticing them.

Insya"allah. However, it is good also to perform our prayer at home with all other available family members. Of course, it is encourage to perform the prayer at Masjid but it depend very much on time and weather ( rain ).

I really love a guy that is really keen to pray at Masjid or at home.
