My 17 year old daughter has a stuffy nose, sometimes runny, and a cough, and she is kind of losing her voice. She has been like this since yesterday and I tried giving her Robitussin but it didn't help her much. Her doctor is closed today too. What medicine will help her get better?

If you take some meds to dry it,you wouldn't get rid of it it would just dry up and stay there.Call the pharmacy before you go there, talk to the pharmacist tell them your daughters symptoms and they will be able to suggest something.Hope she feels better.

Go to the drugstore and ask your pharmacist. They know so much more about medicines than doctors or lay people do!

Something to dry it up like Afrin or pseudophed. Lots of fluids in the meantime to flush the cold from her system.
