I see a lot of varying Christian denomnations and Atheist views here and a fair amount of Muslim and pagans of various types. I would like to hear more from Buddhists and Hindus as I've only seen a sprinkling of posts from those religions. Who would you like to hear more from?

angela c- I think you misunderstood my question. I wasn't asking about who you prefer to be on here. I don't "prefer" any particular religion either. I just wish there was more representation from certain belief systems that are not represented much.

I'm a Buddhist with Hindu leanings and also acknowledge Jesus as a spiritual ancestor. The thing about questions is that I feel that some things would go against my dharma practice or would not be ethical for me to ask therefore I refrain. If there is something you would like to know about me then I would be happy to answer. There are many Hindus on this board but many have left due to intolerance. The greatest of them still comes here and his name is Aum. Make sure you look for his q's. Namaste!

I, and most people I know, don't consider Buddhism a religion, some of the atheists I have seen ask and answer questions here also practice Buddhism.

But you're right, I don't see too many Buddhists or Hindus here.

I am into reincarnation, so I naturally would agree with you. If more Buddhists and Hindus would be represented, maybe people would open up a little bit to the fact, that a lot of people belief just as strongly in beliefs, quite different from their own.

All atheists just share the common non-belief in any gods. It has absolutely nothing to do with them being spiritual in any way, and many of them are. Besides this is not the "Only those that believe in God" Section and Yahoo Q&A is all over the world not just the US. And this is not meant to be sarcastic in any way. It is just the truth.

No, I dont have a preference of any one or two certain religions or non-religion. I would like to see us all getting along and able to air our views without judgement or sarcasm.
