i will be alone AGAIN this year for the holidaze and im thinking that maybe i should volunteer my time for thanksgiving... im not originally from houston, so what do u suggest?

That would be a great way to help others, there should be plenty of soup kitchens in Houston, also check out some local churches, I am sure they could use the help, sorry to here you will be alone during this time of year, when I was in the military overseas it was not any fun, but I made it thru it all and a now I will be home this year for thanksgiving, God bless you for helping and good luck!!

Try hooking up with a local church. They make great "family". You won't have to be alone. Or you can volunteer at a shelter. Just get out there and talk to the right people but do it safely.

Yes, I am alone also. Look in the phone book. There should be several churches or salvation army that will need help serving Thansgiving dinner. Take care.

Yes do.Thanksgiving is thanking God for safe land fall in America and redemption from oppression.But if someone is likely to upset you,don't.
