This puppy was 1 out of a litter of 8 puppies born 3 weeks ago. The puppy was fine 12 hours ago but this morning can not move his body and has a muscus of some kind coming from his mouth and throat. He is crying so I know he must be in some kind of pain.

Puppies that young fade and die fast... either get him to the vet or it will likely be dead within a few hours - how is the mother behaving with it? Often if they are sick the mother will try to protect the other pups in the litter (please God, tell me the puppy is still with its littermates/mother as it should be until it is over 8 weeks of age....) and the mother will either smother the pup or push/take it away from the others -- this is instinctual -- the mother doesn't 'know' in some magical way what is wrong, she only knows there IS something wrong and doesn't want it to threaten the health of the other puppies... actually it might be that there is something wrong with the mother that is passing through her milk and all the pups might start fading... either way, at this point in time your only real recourse to even come close to saving that puppy is to go immediately to a vet... keep it very warm, wrapped and up agaist you, and take it emergently to the vet -- don't know what breed it is or size but you might want to see if the mother needs medical attention as well... if she didn't recieve post natal care that might be the issue as she may be experiencing a uterine infection of sorts... Either way, contact and get to the vet...

Your vet is the best person to help you with that because he or she can do a stool analysis to see if there are still worms and it might be a different kind. You did great making a new appointment. Take your puppy to the vet ASAP. Take care of yourself and your puppy.

No one here can diagnose your puppy.
If something is wrong with them you load all the pups and mom up in the car and go to the vet. Pups this young can downhill very fast, waiting to bring them in can be disastrous. You have no way of knowing of if whatever is wrong with this pup can be spread to other pups. By the end of the weekend you could have 8 dead pups and a really sick mom.

so r u the owner of the mother and the litter or did u buy this dog. cuz if u bought it u need to take it back to its mother. as for the problem, y didnt u go to the vet when u noticed something wrong with the dog.

the puppy should not be away from it mother is like the first 6 weeks TAKE IT TO THE VET

WAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE ON HERE TAKE HIM TO THE VET FOR YOUR INFORMATION!
AND DID YOU BUY THIS DOG FROM THE LITTER OR DO YOU OWN THE MOTHER AND OTHER PUPPIES BECUZ IF YOU DONT THAT PUP IS GONNA DIE!!! SO IF SO PUPS ARENT SUPPOSED TO bE TAKING from THE LITTER TIL 8WEEKS! (sometimes a bit longer)

it could be a sign of parvo..call the vet NOW and if it is parvo let me warn you not all vets treat it.

he needs to go to vet....way to young to wean a puppy from his mom..... sounds like he may have pneumonia......malnutrition.....go now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
