Brand: Sony Model: Cybershot You get what you pay for and with Sony you always get quality equipment and quality after sales service. about 4 or 5 years ago my wife bought me a 7.2 Megapixel Sony Cybershot digital camera. Top of the range when you bought it for £320. I took some photo's with it the other day for a work related issue, i sent the photo's to a wide selection of work colleagues as was required and got a huge bunch of reply's complimenting me on the photo's and asking what digital camera i was using. Many were flabbergasted when they found out how long i have had the camera. The camera fits in your palm and if you buy a larger memory card off ebay it also shoots like a camcorder. Now you will be able to pick up a 12 to 15 megapixel cybershot for less that what she paid easily. Let me sum up your decision in one word SONY Hope this helps.

for $210 you will have to get one off ebay or something i suggest a konica minolta Dimage Z3 Z4 or Z5 they all have anti shake (very important) they can all do video they all have rapid shot they all have 12x optical zoom or better and they are all 4 mega pixels or better. konica minolta dosnt make cameras anymore so they are also relatively cheap. I have the Z3 and it's awesome. the Z4 and Z5 are the two models that came out after it.

The best cameras are the really expensive ones, but i have a kodak easy share one, and it is easy to use, and it works well. the only problem is i dont have a memory card for it yet. be sure to check the memory it has, cause that is important.

Memory cards can be purchased seperatly
$23 = 2045 picture memory (depending on the size of pictures)

I like the Canon Powershot SD1000.

-It's small, pocket size and so it's great for travel.
-It's well built, not a lot of plastic on it.
-7.1mb
-Has video
-Has an easy to use interface

I've printed some of the pictures and they look pretty good.

It runs for $200-$270 dollars depending on where you buy it. But I bought mine on eBay brand new for $160. Hehe
