Are there people who can admit they might be wrong in their beliefes and actually accept listening to other view points, and not start to insult the one who has an opposite belief (like a religious person and an atheist)? Do you think you know the truth, or are you open minded enough to know that you don't know?

I am open minded enough to realize that I might be wrong about my beliefs. There are other views.
I cannot say with 100% accuracy that my way is the only way.

I would never insult anyone who believes differently than I do. I would never be so arrogant as to say call anyone an idiot (as has been done to me)>
I respect all other views....except for maybe the Flying Spaghetti Monster. We all know that is a joke.

I Know that I Know that I Know The Truth! (Jesus!)
I Could Never Deny HIM (Jesus Christ Risen from the Dead).

I AM not Like Peter, befor Peter was "Filled with The Holy Spirit".

I have been Filled.
I Know Too Much! ;) (Thanky Jesus!)

Who did Jesus (Insult?) get Angy at and Why?

Jesus does not Try to "Insult People"---HE Just Tells the Truth---that is all HE can do!
Jesus cannot LIE---so IF You DON"T Want to Know---Don't ASK !!!
That Simple.
But if you Ask Jesus a Question, HE will Tell you the Truth, whether it Ticks you Off or Not!!!

It is Best to Treat EveryBody with Respect.
We are ALL Created in GOD's Image and Likeness.
We get Messed Up when sent to the Earth to be Born (Thank you Adam and satan :(

EveryOne Deserves Respect.

I find that Just Being "Nice" to All gets the Job Done.

You have the Right to Believe What you Want to.
GOD Almigty will not Force (come against your FreeWill) you to Believe SomeThing.

I try not to---Too!
Have a Good Day, try to be Nice and---

Well sure there are people out there who can admit they could be wrong in their beliefs. Personally I'm still searching and exploring the "truth". I think I'm very open minded.

It depends on what you mean by being open minded? If you knew God,then you know he does not need a open mind to know us he already knew us. God knows the truth,he is in us and he sees through us. Does it matter about what any one thinks when another is hell bent on what he deems to be true?

We often say enough to say we just do not know? Yet we have to know something we looked for it and we think we found it. Why get insulted then about your choice?

I think I understand the limitations to my knowledge; but for me the issues is not so much about what I take it that I know, rather, it is about the process of the acquisition of knowledge. Do I possess what I take to be a process that can move me from ignorance to knowledge? Where are the epitomes of that process? Who lives and breathes in a community where that process is recognized and supported? Where are the virtues needed to live and flourish honoured, taught, learned and displayed?

I believe that the truth may be different for each individual. My faith has grown by listening to the points of view of other people.

I know what I feel is the way I feel and I am open for other ideas... I am very open minded in all matters but for some reason I always pray directly to GOD for helping me make the right decision about what I should believe...I believe I am on the right track unless I am lead elsewhere with the power of God answering my prayers.....I think all religions are interesting and love to learn about them ...

If you are speaking of spirituality: I think that when you believe in something and you know that what you believe is right, you can listen to other views, but you have to stand for something or you will fall for anything.

I don't think that it is the place of anyone to try and impose their beliefs / values / views on someone else. I think sharing is one thing, but being unkind to someone because they won't believe in what you believe in is unnecessary and just mean.

NOW... when it comes to natural things, I am ALWAYS open to new ideas and perspectives. I seek them out and welcome them.

I am open to rational arguments. If there are good reasons I will alter my worldview. And I have done so a couple of times. But for someone to change his basic outlook on things, that requires really good reasons as well as courage.

I know that I dont know it all. But what I do know, I know is truth. Jesus Christ Is LORD. This is the truth. Absolute truth. You see larissa, Truth does not depend on who believes it. Truth is always truth. Jesus Christ's resurrectioin is the most well documented fact in history. This is truth. And this is the truth that can save your soul.... Pontius Pilate asked jesus what is truth... The answer lies in John14:6

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
