Jesus is our Head. No human is the leader of Jehovah's Witnesses. There is a Body, but none of the members is more important than the others.

As a legal corporation, though, the Watchtower Society has a president, that is, the representative in administrative matters of the Society. But he is not the leader of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians. Christ Jesus was assigned by Almighty Jehovah to be the head of the congregation.

(Ephesians 1:20-23) [God] raised him up from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places... He also subjected all things under his feet, and made him head over all things to the congregation, which is his body

(Ephesians 5:23) Christ also is head of the congregation, he being a savior of this body.

We have only one mediator and one leader and his name is Christ Jesus. He is also our King and Saviour.
We have "older men" or overseers who give us our spiritual food and keep us spiritually upbuilt, just as the apostle Paul and the other elders in the 1st century did for the congregations then.
Christendom has her preachers, ministers and human leaders such as the pope. What one has to do is examine whether what these leaders teach is really the truth or is their teachings based on man-made traditions and customs?
The Bible should be the basis for everything we believe and teach to others and for Jehovah's Witnesses---it is.
