"We were convinced that the people needs and requires this faith. We have therefore undertaken the fight against the atheistic movement, and that not merely with a few theoretical declarations: we have stamped it out."
Adolf Hitler, in a speech delivered in Berlin, 24 October 1933

Hitler stated: "Christ was the greatest early fighter in the battle against the world enemy, the Jews . . . The work that Christ started but could not finish, I--Adolf Hitler--will conclude."

"Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord."
Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, Ralph Mannheim, ed., p. 65, New York: Mariner Books, 1999

The comparison of these two is dishonest and accounts for neither the complexity of Luther's life and attitude toward the Jews, nor the times in which he lived. Furthermore, while Luther's statements were inexcusable, there is no evidence that they were racially motivated; rather, they were the result of his unrealistic expectation that all honest people would recognize and accept what he believed to be the truth.

Hitler was half jew, his mother was also his half cousin. He wanted to be an artist but was denied entry into a Jewish art school two times...His grandmother got pregnant while working in a Jewish household, Hitler made it illegal for German girls to work in Jewish households. He also was a high school dropout....He was also a sociopath

Luther: Yes. Hitler: No.

So... kind of exactly like it is right now. Except that the true Christian churches were next on his list to be destroyed, so the church would be very much underground.

hitler had his own set of mystical beliefs (similar in origins and basic ideology to modern wicca). i don't think anyone would have called hitler a hero of christianity.

of course, had the nazis succeeded there might well be no more christians left in germany today.

as far as i am aware modern day protestants hold martin luther in high regard; as they do with cotton mather and jonathan edwards.

No
by now Historic Christianity would be illegal
and Catholic, Orthodox and orthodox Protestant Christians would be savagely persecuted and sought out for extermination.

The Nazis would rewrite history and make all the old German heroes into Nazi precursors

I really don't think Hitler was actually a Christian. Of course, there were all sorts of references to God and Christianity in his works and speeches, but any good sociopath knows how to manipulate religion in his favor.

If Germany won the war, religion would most likely be condemned. Most Nazis didn't believe in God.

I honestly don't think any religion would be tolerated if Hitler had won. Hitler would be worshipped as a God.

no, because the majority of Christians- Catholics and Orthodox, would've been converted or exterminated
