Can you give me an example of how each of the gifts are used? I'm thinking of literal one's and I don't know if that's what they want...

I Have Operated in the Gift of FAITH.
Right After I got Saved, Born-Again.
Miracles Happen with that'n.
GOD Does it All, you ain't got Much to do with it, and GOD does it Through You.

Word of wisdom-a is supernatural revelation of the divine purpose of God given by the Spirit of God to a believer for the church .This is something that is unknown but then revealed. Word of knowledge-is related to facts.If a thing is knowledge thenit is not a mystery.Thir gift deal with what exist,whether in the past or in the present Go reveals something that exist now or did exist at one time Discerning of Spirits a gift that allows the believer to seeinto the spirit world Gift of faith is not like the faith to get saved it is special and is done by God alone to perform supernatural exploits that cannot be humanly explained Gifts of Healing is the only gift in the plural form and has do deal with various kinds of healings Working of Miracles is when God allows something to happen through the believer that can not be explained with our natural comprehension The Gift of Prophecy is an inspirational gift and is for edification,exhortation,and comfort. Various Kinds of Tongues is a supernatural utterance that come from God through the person of the Holy Spirit The interpretation of Tongues is the ablity to interpret a message the was given in an unknown tongue.Best Wishes>>

There are WAY more than seven gifts of the Holy Spirit. None of the lists in Scripture is identical to any other list and none of them is meant to be exhaustive.
You can be gifted by the Holy Spirit to do plumbing, write a novella, or design a webpage--anything that gives Glory to God and extends his Kingdom.

Tongues - Praise to God in another language you don't know
Interpretation of tongues - One interprets for the others the praise being spoken in tongues
Prophecy - Speaking from the Bible or future events what affects a person's or group's life/lives
Discernment - Revelation from God that something is unbiblical or amiss about a person or teaching
Miracles - Going against the natural physical laws
Healings - God uses the person to heal another
Word of knowledge - God gives a word to someone that will help another or identify something important

Isaiah told us the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit: Is 11:2 “The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.”
They are: wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord. These seven gifts, part of sanctifying grace, complete and perfect the virtues of those who receive them. They make us docile in obeying divine inspirations without need for reflection but always with full consent.
