sasha-I dont follow a recipe for mac cheese, but Im sure there are good recipes on the web.
I just boil the pasta, for the sauce I use flour and milk, plenty grated cheese, heat ,use a blender if there is any lumps.
pour sauce in to the drained pasta, thats it.
I normally just put grated cheese on pasta though! mix, with some cayanne pepper for a bit of spice.
ideas for stuffing,my fave food!add chestnuts ,apricots, sage and thyme is nice.some people add sausage.

I haven't eaten McDonalds in a long time so i cant say. However, I do have 2 favorite foods. Macaroni and Cheese and Stuffing on thanksgiving. So if u find a recipe for either or I wouldn't mind getting it. lol. And if you are eating food or not eating food because of the calories then you shouldnt be eating at all. Food is to nourish you and to be enjoyed. Eat healthy and you will be fine.

Stuffed spud soup. It's a heart attack in a bowl, but wonderful tasting! I only make it once or twice a year because it's so baaaaad for me.

2 lbs. frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
1/2-cup butter
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
Salt & pepper to taste
3-4 cups half' in half or milk
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Parsley flakes or chopped chives for garnish

Sauté's onions in butter. Add soup, half' in half or milk, and thawed potatoes. Stir in cheese and heat gently garnish and serve.

Fettuccine Carbonara - to me, it's pure decadence! All that cream, butter, cheese and bacon - it's SOOOOOO bad for me, but when I have a big heaping bowl sitting in front of me, all good health reasoning goes right out the window!
