off the top of my head i think it is 3 points plus a fine up to £500 however if you have points already and the new ones put you over the limit, you become a totter and face a driving ban/disqualification

If you were truly doing 31/32 MPH then the flash would not activate. It will activate at about 33/35mph which gives you a 10% error allowance on your speedometer. If you were flashed then they need to notify you within 14 days or they are out of time.
If you do get a fixed penalty then it will be £60 plus 3 points on your licence

A friend of mine is in the force, apparently it works like this :
10 percent plus one which means in a 30 mph zone you can go as far as 30x10/100+1=4 30+4=34 mph

If your indicator showed 31/32 you may have been lucky - most indicators are a little fast.
Things like road surface and tyre pressure can affect it, too.
Penalty for small infingement, first offence, is usually £60 plus 3 points.

Three points my fine was over £200 plus costs. You might be lucky and just get a ticket or given an opportunity to go on a police course which will cost. They tell you when and you accept they do not give alternate dates

Depends on what speed you are doing, i think if you are upto 40mph then its 3 -6 points, any faster and its an automatic ban

you could desire to be loopy. The direction will value you one extra £33 and an afternoon without work artwork. the extra beneficial top rate your insurer will prefer, and you're abliged to tell them, would be extra beneficial than that
