It is a life-threatening disease that effects the skin and mucus membranes of the body by way of hypersensitivity. This means that your own immune system will be attacking your skin and mucus membranes leaving it red and incredibly painful. It is generally caused via a virus infection or a bad reaction to certain types of medicines.
