I believe that one of the disadvantages of all the technology that is available today is we no longer have to have as much contact with people. For instance I'm answering your question and know nothing about you or you me. We can now hide behind our screen name and remain anonymous.
It has also given us more idle time and idle hands are the devils workshop.

we wouldnt need to sin. We would be in Hell.

Technology is responisble for every single comfort you have.

It would be a bigger sin to live the way you want becuse it would be easier to enforce your personal doctrine on those who do not feel the same. And dont give me any back talk about your way being the true path becuse everyone beleives there way is the true path and you should just be glad I am not going to take the time to pick apart your flawed way of thinking accept to help you.

Your God can be a lie. So can my gods. That is why it is called Faith. Ofcording to every book coming from the biblical era to the times of the Jews, to after the death of christ. They agree on this point in some fashion.

God wants us to have doubt, so he is absent from the world and has put himself beyond are knowing.

In other words the Idea is that you do not know. Thats the point. You have no proof. Any proof you could have is a lie, and summount to vanity.

God is a father. He has given up hoping we would turn out just the way dear old dad wants his kids to. What he wants instead is to see us grow on a path that we can be proud of. and one that he can treat with dignity.

Which includes playing nice with our brothers and sisters.

Since God, and other Gods for different reasons, are not provable then the corresponding religions are not grounds for rule, or method there of. However they are not entierly dis provable either. Inconsistiencies and such things still remain that point to a divine something. (The concept of a Godlike being is porvable but no specific god or set of gods is provable)

As such we require a code of conduct allowing all God's and ther people to flourish and have the oppertunity to expand. There is a great system for this that just needs to be expanded on to include the non-abrahamic faiths that where just not around at the time it was written and as such where not quite given equal oppertunity.

It's sad that it and its family of documents is no longer in true use. Its called the declaration of independence, and the bill of rights. as well as the writtings of many men of that time, many of them our forefathers in america.

It goes back to John Locke. Everyman has rights. Life, liberty, and properties. (personal, intelectual, monotary, etc. This encompasses happiness but pursuit of happiness sounded better.)

Inherent in these are the rights to have faith in there creator. Whomever it may be. and the freedom to do so.

Technology is the protection for that freedom. It gives the small in number the abillity to organize and communicate over distances that would otherwise be to far for any real contact. If I sent a letter to vermont saying i was poping in for afternoon tea. It would get there the morning i arrived... (in truth with todays postal syestem that might happen anyways)

Assuming we still have a government. Without technology it holds no sway and has limited ability to react. Or for that matter protect us. Anarchy would sweep the nation and cult after cutl would rise to power spraying blood, and rape across the countryside. Which If I recall are sins.

Many good things would die, and bad things would be born. Things meant to hurt, and enslave. Things that might ultimately be used to expunge christianity all together.

No my friend. Technology does not encourage sin. It encouages freedom. And protects the weak of mind from defying the word of your own Christ.

"If you come to a place and they will not hear the word, then simply dust your shoes off, and go to the next town." Christ never says make everyone beleive in me. He dosent say anything like that at all. (when the gospels say he did it has been shown to be the less accurate parts of the bible, and the most likely to be contaminated by the writters personal feelings and beleifs)

Technology does not create sinners, it creates non beleivers. and there is a difference.

People are people and they are going to sin regardless of technology. Time changes peoples views not technology

we'd still be mislead by the Church and stuck thinking earth is center of the universe and men could still abuse women and kids freely under church and bible laws without a judicial and legal system to stop them
