The ear ache will be due to congestion backing up into your ears. This is something you want to treat with rest and by staying warm. The cold will only allow the ear ache to continue. By staying out in the cold it could get worse. Take a few days off.

Well, a normal person of medical professional would likely recommend that you lay off running for a week or so, because your body needs to rest and use all its energy to keep your immunities up. But as a fellow runner, I understand the psychological drag of missing runs can also be unhealthy. I always think if you feel like running, you are probably physically up to it. Make sure your ear is well covered when you run and try to generally rest and chill if you can.

Go to the doctor first, then if they say it is okay to run, then it shouldn't be a problem.

I run all the time when it is below 30 degrees and snow on the ground. As long as you wear the proper clothing it doesn't matter.

Hat, gloves, wind breaker, polypro running pants. Works for me.

it could led to by making use of a pair of issues yet a million is by making use of a few distance the main worry-loose. Your nostril and mouth are uncovered to something that motives them to swell purely slightly, transforming into a adverse stress on your ear. This pulls the ear drum in - around the bones and which could injury. chilly air can do this, hypersensitive reactions can do this, virus (chilly viruses) - rather something inflicting your nostril to be crammed up. word how your nostril can run while your are interior the chilly. the chilly air could reason the ear canal to shrink slightly besides...ear buds (song), cotton, ect. can help this. stable success and save working.

NOPE. See a doctor, get some medicine, and get rid of the ear infection. Your body is already weak from the cold you ran thru, now it's still weak with ear infection. What will you say next week from the hospital bed with pneumonia ???

I've been there, but logic must trump "what I want now"

Good Luck
