British Airways have 6 daily nonstop flights between Heathrow and Berlin-Tegel (the busiest airport among Berlin's 3). Flight time(s) are 1 hour and 45 to 1 hour and 50 minutes.

In 2007, Tegel is expected to handle 13 million passengers. In 2006, Schoenefeld handled just over 6 million passengers. In 2011, it is expected that Berlin's 3 airports will consolidate into Berlin-Brandenburg International Airport at Schoenefeld.

It's good that you brought this up to raise awareness.

With all respect to Mr T's, Tegel is not the main aiport of Berlin. Tegel just happens to be the one Lufthansa and British Airways use since it is closer to the city centre. Berlin's main airport is Schoenefeld and it is the airport easyjet and Air Berlin use primarily. Flights to Schoenefeld are a few minutes longer than to Tegel when coming from London.

Both airports have good public transport connections into the city. Tegel by bus to Zoo train station and Schoenefeld by S-Bahn.
