It is a interior decorators term that actually mean literally 'fitting the size of your sofa'. It is so it balances the interior design. Just something that looks proportionate to the sofa. Think of dimensions of about 1 to 2 meters wide depending on the sofa.


You could always buy a painting-sized sofa if you like the painting better. ;-)

ours is 270cms wide and about 100cm high - goes neatly at the back of our sofa and saves paiting the wall... so how big is your sofa?
