Yes of course it is. Nothing wrong in that. I also wish the old fuddy duddys who are saying you are too young would go back in time. I was in love when i was 11, used to carry her books to school.

At this age, hormones are a' flyin' and it may be just a crush. If u are truly in love, u know that u would go to the ends of the earth and beyond for this guy, he is someone u could never do without and that there is no other like him. If this is the case, then yes, u r in love at the age of 14. Love is a beautiful thing. Charish it.

At 14 you have definite feelings, and very strong feelings at that! I've been there! But being older now, they are a far cry from true love... I'm not trying to undermine the way you feel, I know you probably feel INTENSELY about this guy, and are looking for a way to describe the way you feel... I don't know the word for it though, but love would be probably the closest way to describing it... they need to invent a new word for it to give the crazy feeling the justice it deserves.. (and I know it's not puppy love - don't you hate that saying!). But anyway... real honest totally in love with someone means that you accept and love their flaws (biting their fingernails, farting, burping, arguing with you from time to time etc) and that you would be with them if they had a different hairstyle, gained weight, went bald, and even if for some horrible reason they ended up in a wheelchair... you know that you're in love when you know you'd still be madly in love with them 10, 20, 30 years after all that, and they're still fat, bald, arguing with you here and there, and still in that wheelchair... I hope that helps to put it in perspective for you.

Just the facts: A teenagers body, especially one in the middle of puberty, is flowing with hormones. These hormones, usually several endorphins, or the "happy" hormones, flow easily. Basically, a teenagers body reacts easily to others (although it may not feel physical), it is a natural response. Take it slow, be careful, but don't always look a gift horse in the mouth. Okay?

I'm 14. And I don't believe I've ever been in love.
But not because I'm not old enough to know what love is....[null...] Just because I haven't found the right person.
My friend's parents met at 13 and went out then and they've been together ever since. Married with 2 kids and they're in love :)
So you can fall in love at any age.

I am now engaged to the girl I loved at 14. 14 year olds can love more passionately at most-they have less stress in their lives and can direct their attention to each other.
