Make an appointment with a dermatologist.

There are lots of things that may seem unusual, but most aren't cancer. You can't tell that something is cancer just by looking at it. You could have psoriasis, an infection, or lots of other things. Don't get anxious, just make an appointment on Monday.

An emergency room is the least likely place to get an accurate diagnosis. Make an appointment with a dermatologist. To ease your anxiety in the meanwhile it sounds like a SK, a form of seborrhea dermatitis. Totally harmless. They're a nuisance to be sure. At most it may be an AK, actinic keratosis, a form of skin pre-cancer which sometimes turns into squamous cell carcinoma later on in life.

If you've waited this long a few more days is unlikely to make that big a difference. Rushing to emergency for things you've put off and at the moment don't seem life threatening is what keeps the cost of medical treatment so high. See your Dr. on Monday.

You can but it is unlikely you will see the proper Dr. before Monday. An emergency Dr. would refer you to a dermatologist anyway who will know more about the next step of action.
A couple more days won't hurt you. You said it's been bothering you for a long time.
Good luck.

No. This isn't a real emergency.
AN ER is interested in doing two of three things, stabilizing you.then either admitting you or sending you home.
And they'll charge you a couple hundred for doing it.
First thing Monday, call your dr and see if they can see you .You dr will either treat it himself, or send you to a dermatologist.
Good uck.

You really need to read "Banish My Bumps" by Angela Steinberg (also available in electronic format here: http://www.banishbumps.com ). It's about how to permanently cure your Keratosis Pilaris naturally. I was able to clear my skin in only 7 days after reading this.

Stop paying paying each month good money on creams. This is exactly what the pharmaceutical industry wants you to do! They want to milk money from you each month.

Make an appointment with your family doctor and he/she will refer you for more tests.

you cannot easily diagnose cancer yourself. does the patch bleed some times?
however it's better to go to emergency. there are always professionalist there to diagnose skin problems.
