anytime i try and load new pc games and they have two cd's, the first one will always load great, but then the second one freezes up my computer and will never complete the game load. any suggestions? it does this on my laptop and my desktop. is there something i have set wrong on both computers. i've tried several games, so it's not the game.

ron, yes, i have plenty of memory, etc. i forgot to add that to my original question. i have gobs of room, the desktop was actually created for games of that nature, so have no idea why it's not working.

Are you sure that you have enough memory, disk space, and a high end graphics card that can handle a game this big? The larger the game, the more memory hog it becomes and also the processor has to be fast enough to handle it. Look at the minimum requirements that should be shown on the box the game came in and then at what you have in your computer.
