I am getting ready to start taking Paxil today, has it worked for you? I was taking Lexapro, but had to switch to something else due to the expense of the Lexapro...feedback on Paxil would be great!!!

ive beentaking paxil for quite a few yrs,it keeps me calm and feeling carefree,i once forgot it for 2 days and i could tell a big difference in my mood of when i took it and didnt ,it doesnt make me sleepy at all,actually it makes me feel like i have more energy

what are you taking it for ? if its for panic attacks , then it works really good , the only thing that happened to me on paxil is that i lost weight when i first started taking it , and then when i felt better i gained like 15 pounds so i switched to zoloft but i have to say that i liked paxil the best for me good luck

It has worked for me, though it can cause some people to get manic and over spend. What I like about it is that I have stayed very calm. I'm not getting rattled.

I use to be on it. It didn't really help, but then again, I wasn't keeping my follow up doctor appts. and my dosage wasn't being properly adjusted.
