puh-lease
I have these two girls in my group who are "BFFL FOR LYF"
and they just go to the toilet and talk about me and all my friends on how we are all fed up about them always talking about "super hot guys that they hooked up with on the holidays" oh and they just purely say bad things about us.

How do I know? Just some person who I vaugely know that happened to be in the toliet during there "little session"

I put up with their annoyingness and show them that I don't give a bone about what they say about me or my mates for that matter.

Just don't talk about them, it'll make the problem worse.

Don't be as pathetic as them.

I will feel mad and angry at them. They have no right in saying about other people behind their back. They have far much better things to do than talking about people. I just hate people who say bad things about other people.

It's just so frustrating that I couldn't even explain my feelings... l0lx

It depends on what you are referring to as "bad". Ya know, perfection does not exist, and the person who is delivering the negative information about you will never be trusted by anyone. This sort of behavior and the results of it will spill over into every aspect of this persons life. Personal, professional, social, and recreational. It's the sort of scurrilous activity politicians participate in, and no one trusts them either.

If your a good person and know that lies have been fabricated against you, don't retaliate with the same type of response,
Ignore them and they will go away.
It doesn't happen overnight but when they come to realize that you are not responding in a negative way to their attacks they will eventually leave you alone and turn to a weaker person to taunt.

I'd get really angry and hurt esp. if the person is a close friend. As a matter of fact, it has just happened to me recently. This close guy friend whom i had fancied b4 started talking ill of me in front of my bf and instigated a lot of fights btwn me and my guy. It turned out that he was interested in my bf and wanted him to break up with me. I was extremely furious and hurt when I found out (my bf told me what was going on). I had really trusted the guy and his friendship. Since finding out, I no longer consider him as a friend.

I feel sorry for them. If they don't have anything better to do with their time, they must be very sad and damaged people. My friends and those who know me won't believe bad things about me. People who don't know me, and choose to believe malicious gossip about strangers, are probably not the kind of people I would choose as friends or colleagues anyway.

Just ignore it and move it. It isn't worth the worry, they are not worth the time of day. And infact, they want a response. They will hate that you are strong and do not care.
