If a buy a playstation 3 here in Usa and ship it to Poland will it work??

Yes. But only after you plug it into an adapter. The American electric outlets are not the same as European electric outlets. None of your American electrical appliances will work in Europe unless you use the adapter.

Yes it will work but you will need to plug it into a 220 transformer or you will blow it up. Also, you can only play games bought in the US. Games from Europe use a different format and you cant switch back and forth.

It depends on the region code , some things have lots -multi region numbers , others only suit locally . I know uk is region 2.
There is also ways of unlocking codes so that the will work . Like unlocking a mobile phones to recieve all networks .

Sometimes. Australia uses area 4, America is area 1. If you have a cheapie DVD player, it will play anything from anywhere. The most problems you will have is if you have a good brand DVD player it will only play the area in which you live, ie area 4

I don't think so. Conversely I think ones bought overseas don't work in the US, so my gaming guy friends say at work.
They didn't mention an adapter, so I don't know if that's an option, but that's what you have to buy for dvd players in the same situation.
