Anyone who has had a real death experience would not be able to answer this question.

A friend of mine did and it took her almost a year to talk about it for fear others would think she was nuts. Even now only her hubby, mother & I know about it.

She said she was aware of everyone around her, what they were wearing, saying, etc. But there was such a perfect peace beyond anything she could explain but no light to go towards. Just rest. They resusitated her but she was in a coma for several months. She recalled things said then as well. She said as soon as she'd think of a question, it'd be answered. She was aware of all the people who she loved that would or wouldn't be with her in eternity.

She didn't want to come back & remembers there was a struggle emotionally to stay in the coma of which she was conscious she was in. It wasn't until she knew (somehow) if she died, her mom would die as well that she accepted she had to come back.

For months she was deeply depressed with this almost unbearable longing. She couldn't snap out of it either until her mom discovered she had cancer. That's when she knew why she had to come back, though she never told her mom until her mom was in remission & mentioned if she hadn't come out of the coma & found out she had cancer she wouldn't have fought.

That's been several years ago & though she's not an excessively religious or emotional person she still can't talk about that time w/o getting emotional & having that longing to leave & go back to that place. She knew it was heaven though there was no light. She saw in her mind what her eyes couldn't & it was accurate.

Everyone who has experienced it has their own story. But hers moved me the deepest because she only told it to a few & had struggled so long to understand it on her own. Plus the obvious pain & longing I saw & could almost feel when she spoke of it.

Yes. Was dead for 2 minutes once, and almost a minute the other time. Nothing happened. The world stopped for two minutes.

There is no empirical evidence for any afterlife. Did you dislike how you felt before you were conceived? Edit: If you are really afraid of returning to what it was like before you were born then you have serious problems and you probably need to talk to a professional about that. There are a lot of other things to worry about. What if a plane crashes into your bedroom while you are asleep and misses you but you get hit with shrapnel and have to have all your limbs amputated?

Oh i've had the experience, and I don't wanna say what I've seen but me and someone else I know have seen been warned and now we go to Church, God really wanted us to quit doing what we were, when God has a plan for you, it is not good to go against it, Anyone that even feels the calling of God should not push it away, it'll be like swimming upstream in a raft with a hole in it if they do. Because if you are ignoring God it will not be good.

Neither.

I found myself in a cave sitting with Fenris Wolf from Norse Mythology. We didn't say anything. I put my hand on his shoulder, he wrapped his paw around my arm and returned the gesture.

It was a very peaceful, comfortable experience, neither heavenly or hellish, just comfortable.
