Thru the way of Buddha.

The "technical" definition of "virginity" is a female whose internal structure of the vagina is in a "virgin" state which is to say that the hymen has not been "ruptured" by penile penetration. The hymen is a kind of flap of flesh which blocks most, but not all of the pathway to the innermost portions of the vaginal cavity. Obviously menstrual flow can escape past the hymen so it is not a complete "seal".

Use of tampons during a female's "period" can break the hymen, as can masturbation using something that penetrates the vaginal cavity. On rare occasions (very, very rare) a hymen has been reported to have grown back.

Again, although the term "virginity" technically refers to the hymen and vaginal penetration, the technical (if not moral) loophole is anal penetration (and to a lesser extent oral copulation). A famous instance of the use of the loophole was Elvis and his bride-to-be. According to Priscilla, they didn't have sex until after their wedding, but prior to that they did "everything else".

However the term "virginity" is itself a sort of moral construct implying that one leads a life that includes chastity and piety and goodness. To some extent one can "recover" one's "virginity" (in this sense of the word) by living a life that conforms to those expectations in our society.

If you accidentally broke your hymen (say, using a tampon) you are not strictly speaking a "virgin" physically, but not having had intercourse, you are still one. The other side of the coin is that leading a "moral" existence all week but engaging in intercourse every weekend is not what would be considered anything close to "regaining" one's virginity.

Does that answer your question?

You can never regain your virginity. Being a virgin means you have never had sex. However, you can have surgery to replace the hymen. This may fool whoever you are with after the surgery, but in your heart you will know!

Two possibilities: You can "think virgin" like Queen Elizabeth 1 or there are surgical procedures to restore the hymen available mostly in the Far East.

Thinking virgin is more economical but it requires more effort to be convincing.

Any particular reason for asking?

Through reconstructive surgery, you can get a close approximation physically.

But, the emotional and mental changes that come from losing one's virginity are just about impossible to undo for either gender. There's a huge loss of innocence.

hey :)
if you regretted it..as well as in the case of rape, when being forced to, there is what we call "secondary virginity" which is when someone DID not want to and went ahead due to abuse or even cos they were drunk. this does not repair ur hymen (ur hymen can b broken in other activities rele) but it makes u feel tat u havent given urself away. HOWEVER u rele must have regretted it for u to feel "cleansed" (horrid word i know :S but i cant tink of nything else) it is important however to tell ur nxt partner about ur loss of virginity especially if no protection was used.

Hope i helped a bit :)

1. Mentally by being "reborn" through religion
2. Very carefully with a sewing needle
3. Amnesia

I would say it's not possible. Why would you want to? Most people don't lose theirs to Prince Charming (ladies) or Pocahontas (men).

I sure lost mine at 18 to the wrong girl, but I sure as heck don't want it back. It's just a life experience.

I'm pretty sure its impossible. I mean, yes you can get surgery to replace the hymen... but that doesn't make you a virgin again.

Being a virgin, means that you haven't had sex... so unless you can get into a time machine, you can't regain it.

physiologically, you will never be a virgin again, once you have broken the "seal".

You can have a change of character and choose to be chaste and remain celebate till you are married and that would reclaim your virginity as a bride BUT you should not lie to your partner that you have "never" done it before. That would be deceitful and unfair to your partner.

sort of you can - it's called lying.

just say you are. Don't lie about it to someone you had sex with though - you'll look stupid.

Don't lie to God or Jesus about it either, they know the truth already and told you not to lie.

Everyone that contends to have "reclaimed" their virginity through God, has lied to God. (IMHO) and lying to God must be a very serious transgression; even higher on the list of no-no's than having sex.
